Responsibilities and Tasks
IT Manager & Systems Administrator duties include (but are not limited to):
System Administration:
Lead and execute projects for optimal system performance.
Set up and configure workstations, equipment, and peripherals.
Manage onboarding/offboarding of system users.
Regularly update equipment (switches, firewalls, access points, NAS).
Deploy Windows and BIOS updates to all endpoints.
Manage Active Directory.
Facilitate IT onboarding meetings for new hires.
Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and test server backups.
Oversee and administer the VoIP phone system.
Manage technology at corporate, branch, and satellite offices.
Administer Microsoft and Linux endpoint operating systems (basic to advanced).
Management & Security:
Maintain and test the disaster recovery plan.
Collaborate on the enterprise security plan with the IT Director and external consultants.
IT Inventory Management:
Research and procure equipment to meet tech needs.
Track IT inventory, including equipment check-in/check-out.
Maintain licensing compliance and hardware for new hires/depreciation cycles.
Conduct regular asset audits.
Day-to-Day IT Operations:
Coordinate IT setup and internet installation for new community sites.
Manage wired and wireless communication systems.
Create and document internal IT procedures.
Perform license audits (e.g., D365, Windows Server CALs, Microsoft Office).
Stay updated on software releases, implement features, and train users.
IT Support:
Be the primary contact for IT support for 60+ staff across multiple locations.
Train staff on cyber awareness and software via documentation, videos, and live sessions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Take on additional tasks as needed to support the company’s mission and goals.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, networking, or related field.
4+ years managing networks, systems, and security (bonus for Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS experience).
Problem-Solving Wizard: Approach challenges with creativity and confidence.

Flexibility: Must be available occasionally for evenings and weekends.
