Responsibilities and Tasks
Engineering and technical tasks include (but are not limited to):

Design distribution and sub-transmission lines (12–69kV) for line engineering projects, specifying poles, conductors, insulators, and equipment in accordance with policies, standards, and codes.

Use software such as Pole Foreman to perform pole loading analysis.

Conduct field data collection on poles and ground-based equipment.

Perform technical calculations, including fusing coordination, voltage drops, transformer loading, and project estimates.

Track and maintain workflow progress using Maximo.

Develop and manage bills of materials for assigned projects.

Apply analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Collaborate closely with team members, demonstrating attention to detail, organization, and strong facilitation skills.

Requirements
No prior utility industry experience required.

Strong collaboration skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Role is primarily office-based but may involve occasional fieldwork.

Experience in management or supervisory roles is preferred.

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) License preferred.

Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.

Experience with PLS-CADD design preferred.
